Online Marketing Seminar

I will be participating in a panel discussion regarding online marketing. This is a Business After-hours session run by Wayland Area revitalization (www.waylandarea.org) and will take place at the Wayland Library at 6:30 PM Monday, July 12th.

I will be giving an overview of websites and the basics of different types of online marketing. The other panelists will expand on Social Media marketing. Other panelist include representatives from Smitty’s Pop and Hops, Dogwood trading, Dogwood Floral, and 129 Main St. this should be a lively discussion covering ways to use facebook and other social media for local marketing.

Wayland Area Revitalization will also unveil their new website, designed by a student at Wayland-Cohocton High School.

frontier internet is down nationwide

Frontier internet service is down nationwide. I have called in to support and was told there is no ETA yet for the repair.

The Town of Wayland has a website!

The Town board for the Town of Wayland (NY) has decided to join the digital age. A very basic website is now located at http://townofwayland.org. I look forward to seeing our town increase it’s usage of technology to reach out to the citizens.
